OP TAC is a flagship programme for supporting Czech entrepreneurs in the 2021–2027 programming period. A total of EUR 3.2 billion, equivalent to approximately CZK 81.5 billion, has been prepared for this operational programme from the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF).
Applicants can use the funds to co-finance business projects in the field of research, development and innovation, digitization and digital infrastructure, business development, smart and sustainable energy or circular economy.
The managing authority of OP TAC is the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Czech Republic (MIT). The Business and Innovation Agency (API) acts as the intermediate body. The operational programme consists of 5 priorities that are further divided into specific objectives, each of which has defined supported activities. The target group is primarily small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), but some specific activities are also suitable for large enterprises. Newly, it is also possible to support the categories of enterprises marked as mid-cap or small mid-cap companies. The supported territory is the entire Czech Republic outside the NUTS 2 Prague region.
